Omnicept Runtime recently using up to many resources
Lately (for the past month) one of the VR laptops we use reports increased resource consumption for the Omnicept Runtime background process, reaching up to 20% of their CPU with no VR application running and up to 60% with VR running (on a 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11800H @ 2.30GHz). This causes the formerly operational VRapps to lag beyond usability. Uninstalling and reinstalling the Omnicept Runtime eliminates the problem for a short duration. This leaves me rather perplexed. The device is running Windows 11 (10.0.22621) 64bit.
Is anyone else facing the same problem? Can anyone advise as to what could be the cause and how to address the issue?
Thank you in advance,
Olga Chatzifoti
